About
Maria Julia Salas, an accomplished architect, graduated with honors from UNLP, Argentina, in 2011 and quickly made a name for herself in the construction industry. She pursued a Master’s in Interior Design in Italy, gaining valuable experience with a prestigious Italian firm. Passionate about sustainability, she earned her LEED Green Associate certification and later studied Small and Medium Business Direction at IAE Business School. She also acquired expertise in User Experience, Service Design, and Supply Chain Management.
Her global journey included a pivotal stint at Campana Brothers Studio in Brazil, which deepened her design knowledge. Back in Argentina, Julia contributed to architecture and collaborated with the NGO Hecho x Nosotros, developing Capacity Building programs for MSMEs and marginalized communities.
In 2022, driven by a passion for sustainability and empowering marginalized women, Julia founded Julia Salas LLC in Florida, later branching into Drafts and Plans. Julia Salas LLC focuses on sustainability consulting, while Drafts and Plans provides technical drawing and project management services. Her businesses aim to offer job opportunities to marginalized women, inspired by her work with Hecho x Nosotros, contributing to sustainable growth and empowerment.
Maria Julia Salas is not only a distinguished architect and sustainability expert but also a dedicated advocate for positive change.
